Secondary Students – Haunted House Event It was only 7 days ago that the Junior Secondary students asked permission to organize a Haunted House Event for the entire school to experience and enjoy. Under the leadership of Sahil Shah (Year 9) the Junior Secondary students quickly recruited the support of their Secondary Seniors and Secondary Teachers. BOOK WEEK

  BOOK WEEK October, 23rd – 27th, 2017 Book Week on the Primary campus started inside our class to begin ‘Writing Narrative As a Class’ and they also made a ‘Book Cover Design’. Daily, after each break the Secondary students came and visit each class as a storyteller to Primary students for ‘Read Around the Rooms’. We had ‘Book Character Parade’ on Friday. International Day

  International Day Preparations   This past week the Secondary students who were not busy studying every day for their Cambridge Mock Exams were busy rehearsing their skits and dance routines and completing their artworks in preparation for today’s ( September 15th) International Day celebrations at NZIS. Indonesian Independence Day

Indonesian Independence Day  This year’s Indonesian Independence Day was celebrated on August 17th, the same date the Indonesian people proclaimed their independence 72 years ago. The purpose of this event was to not only commemorate the Indonesian Independence Day itself but to also increase the feelings of togetherness and reinforce the concept of unity in diversity as one big family of NZIS Jakarta.
