Year 5’s class photo

A warm welcome and greeting to everyone, especially to those new families joining us as we begin the new year positively moving forward. There have been plenty of developments on both campuses and we are excited as a team of professionals for the challenges, which lie ahead. Welcome to our new staff, to Indonesia and to NZIS and we look forward to their contributions to our school culture throughout the year.

It has been a very positive start to the year with some outstanding Cambridge International Examination results from our 2014 students.

There will be an information evening at the secondary campus, this Thursday, which will highlight some of the key areas where we did well but also some of the developments we are implementing to ensure our students are continually challenged and achieving.

JIS TOURNAMENT

Secondary Taniwha 7s Rugby team

Also we have gotten off to a flying start with our Secondary Taniwha 7s Rugby team, doing superbly over the weekend at JIS. They won all 4 games defeating The British School twice in extremely evenly fought games and then beating a JIS team comfortably. We had the services of students from LIF (The French School, ACG and SPH). We were fortunate to have their services and our international team did incredibly well having only four days preparation.

We look forward to an amazing 2015 and we wish all of our families a great and prosperous year ahead.
